NORDBO omega-3 contains fresh and untreated fish oil from Danish trout. The product is fully traceable and ASC certified, which guarantees that it is sustainably produced, with respect for the environment as well as for animals and people. The oil is produced from waste from the fishing industry which is usually thrown away. It contains omega-3,-6,-7,-9 and 11, with EPA and DHA contributing to the normal functioning of the heart.
ASC certification
ASC stands for the Aquaculture Stewardship Council, which is an international organization that has developed rules for the certification and eco-labelling of farmed fish and shellfish. The requirements for an ASC label differ from the requirements for the MSC. In order to be ASC certified, it is required, among other things, that the feed is sustainably fished and that the water released from the farms is purified. With the ASC certification, consumers and buyers can choose documented responsibly farmed products and know that the environmental consequences of fish farming have been minimal.
Recommended dose:
Children 11-17 years: 2 capsules daily
Adults: 2-4 capsules daily
Pregnant and breastfeeding: 2-4 capsules daily
The dosage is dependent on the amount of other fish consumption.
